Better late than never, right?
Finding a hotel room is easy. Simply go on the Internet or use your smartphone and voila! You’re booked. But if you are only interested in new hotels, then that’s a different story. Luckily, you have us. And we’re obsessed with new hotels. Here’s a list of hotels that have opened or are opening this month (and a few that aren’t going to make it.) Got a new hotel to add? OPENINGS
· TEMPLE HOUSE CHENGDU: Reservations have opened up for Temple House, a part of newly-formed House Collection, for July 18. Rooms on that night start at CNY 3,499 (about $ 548) for the deluxe temple suite. The next weekend a regular temple suite starts at CNY 2,699 or about $ 435 a night.
· ONE HOTEL CENTRAL PARK: While reservations aren’t open on the website until August, the eco-friendly luxury hotel has promised to be open this month, but to be safe, wait until August to book. As for what to expect rate-wise, well, we’re not quite sure because the hotel is being indecisive but expect to pay $ 250 a night for an Alcove Queen during the typically slow month of August.
JUST OPENED
NOT GONNA MAKE IT
· NAUTILUS SOUTH BEACH: Initially hoping to open on July 6, this Sixty Hotel is now set for a November opening.
· W KANAI RETREAT & SPA: The W retreat planned for Riviera Maya, Mexico has now been moved to January 2018.
