Sixty Soho has undergone a full renovation from its days as the modelizing, Page Six-worthy 60 Thompson Hotel into a more mature, sophisticated spot boasting a “no-fuss approach.”
While we’ve virtually squired you around the guest rooms and the lobby’s Gordon Bar, Sixty just finished the final touches for the Sessanta ground-floor, all-day restaurant, serving coastal Italian cuisine which opens out to the Thompson Street sidewalk for al fresco dining.
The very last piece of the Sixty experience to be unveiled is A60, the hotel’s famed and intimate rooftop terrace, only accessible for hotel guests and specially invited, card-carrying members. There has to be a little exclusivity left, especially when it comes to admiring this quintessential city view.
The terrace just opened yesterday and will be serving “small-plate edibles and comestible cocktails” daily from 4:30pm until “late.” Not a member? Rates at the hotel start at $ 299 a night next weekend and that includes free WiFi, something you never would have seen in the 60T days.
